Caeli Data Products: APIs & Datasets
Caeli Pricing & Cost
The products of Caeli are price based on how many gasses which are needed to map. Also, the particulair area is important for the price of the end products. The price depends on the size of the area, how many gasses and last for how long. We can give access to our customers to data from 2017. We can work with yearly subscription with recent data, so customers can acces our platform and get insight in the air quality measurments of their area. We can also deliver historical data, price based on the amount of gasses, years/months and area.

About Caeli
Caeli in a Nutshell
Caeli is engaged in mapping the atmosphere and the (quantity of) different gases it contains. Nitrogen dioxide (NO2), methane (CH4), ammonia (NH3) and ozone (O3) in a high resolution of 100x100 meters, worldwide.
Air quality data in finely meshed areas is very limited in real time and real insights into local pollution sources are not available. Caeli offers the solution. With the data Caeli provides, you have immediate insight into both the composition of the air in a particular area and any local pollution sources. This data is collected with satellites, which makes the data extremely accurate. This makes Caeli a reliable provider for mapping the air quality in your environment.
You can use Caeli’s applications directly, without the need for a team of developers or background knowledge. And because of the use of satellites, there is no need to install a measuring station or other hardware and make the corresponding investment.

With the right architecture choice and design of a hybrid cloud on-premise solution, Caeli is able to perform and present both heavy algorithms and visualisations without concessions”. - William Versteeg - Location Intelligence Service BV
Caeli’s high-resolution maps and associated satellite data give us the opportunity to create new insights into air quality at the policy level and then make the right decisions”. - Province of Zeeland
Together with Caeli, our Business Analytics students from the Faculty of Beta Sciences are working on the very relevant societal issues that Caeli is focusing on, in order to work together to create even more beautiful data solutions for their customers”. - Mark Hoogendoorn - Free University Amsterdam
Data Sources & Collection
The satellite data we are using comes from TROPOMI and IASI; official and validated ESA data. By means of our developed SuperResolutionAlgorithm and Imputation Algorithm, we have access to measurement data in a resolution of 100x100 meters, insightful in our dashboard, available in hexagons. With our Imputation Algorithm we are able to see ‘through the clouds’ to create daily air quality datasets available for our customers.
Key Differentiators
Why Caeli?
- Accurate data on air quality
- No hardware required - Reliable data obtained from satellites
- Worldwide data available - Insights into methane, carbon dioxide, ammonia, etc.
- Monitoring provides progressive insights into policy decisions
- Dataset in the form of a clear and comprehensible map
- Low-cost subscription model
Why satellite data?
Satellite data provides accurate information on the average values of gas in a given area, such as a meadow or a landfill. This is in contrast to a point or area measurement using a measuring station, where very accurate information is given about a specific point, which does not say much about the whole environment.
The satellite data provided by Caeli are displayed on a map, giving you an immediate insight into the air quality, without needing any specific knowledge. In this way, Caeli makes air quality data accessible. Last, Caeli has full coverage of the world with data of different polluters, which is truly measured. A lot of companies uses measurement data to calculate the air quality on points which hasn’t got an measurement station. With the use of satellite data there are no calculations needed worldwide.
