Data Offering

We provide detailed scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions with methodologies (location vs. market based) and scope 3 breakdown into 15 categories where available. The data spans 29 countries with up to 6 years of history. We go beyond scope 1, 2, 3 emissions, and include sub-categories, indirect emission calculation methodologies, reporting dates, and other metrics.

Use Cases

  1. The emissions dataset can be used by institutional investors and asset managers to better align the environmental footprint of their portfolios with their ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) mandates.
  2. The data can be used by corporations themselves to better understand and quantify their own emissions in the context of the emissions of other corporations in their sector in order to set goals and fulfill their emissions mandates.
  3. The data can be used by government bodies to better understand the environmental footprint of individual corporations or sectors as a whole for assessment of mandates, and better understanding and planning of environmental mandate frameworks and trajectories.

Data Sources & Collection

Using our proprietary AI engine in hybrid with human supervision, we aggregate and standardize emission data from publicly disclosed environmental reports published directly by companies. We ingest the data across multiple frameworks such as SASB, GRI, TCFD, and unstructured annual reports. Scope 1, 2 and 3 emission data is standardized into common units and further divided into sub-categories where applicable.

Key Differentiators

EnvAI’s product goes beyond existing emissions offerings by going beyond simple scope 1,2, 3 scopes, and also including scope breakdowns such as location vs. market methodologies for scope 2 or the 15 subcategories of scope 3 as defined by the GHG Protocol. EnvAI’s AI engine enables accurate and comprehensive emissions data from 29 countries across 6 years. The data can be provided through any number of easy to use methods, including REST API, S3 buckets, or even direct scheduled transfers by email in any number of formats.

Data Privacy
