CitiesAI dataset about footfall in Warsaw is unique, because it's based on 500 000 pictures daily from the city and Computer Vision. Compared to mobile data we count only people outdoor (not in cars or buldings) with few meters accuracy. Our footfall data is perfect for retail, OOH and city hall.
We collect and analyse millions of photos every month. The photos are taken by taxis and couriers driving around the city. Then they are analysed by our unique neural network specially trained for the visual analysis of urban spaces. Machine Learning extracts information about the number of pedestrians, vehicles or the type of advertising media. Based on the data, we generate reports based on analyses of trends and patterns, including pedestrian traffic for a given location. Data is processed in terms of its use in many different industries and situations. The main usage of our data is: 1. Pricing for rent or sale of real estate based on traffic in the area 2. Choosing a location for a business premises 3. Choosing the right locations for OOH advertising, pricing and reporting the effectiveness of OOH campaigns 4. Preparation of urban plans taking into account the movement of residents (pedestrian crossings, footbridges, bridges, places of public transport stops, etc.) 5. Simulation of actions in the event of terrorist acts or other threats, e.g. the spread of a pandemic in large groups of people
