AWIS offers a wide variety of pricing options for both observational data and weather forecasting products.
Monthly and annual reports start at $50 per site.
Long term normals reports start at $100 per site.
Hourly or Daily observations are priced based on number of stations needed and can be invoiced monthly or annually. Average cost is around $5 per site, per month for clients needing over 100 sites with an annual contract.
Our daily weather data feeds are full of REAL weather observations, not satellite derived estimates. Price on these range from $1.50 per site, per month to $0.25 per site, per month, depending on how many sites you need. Discounts are available for annual payment and long term contracts.

AWIS provides sub-hourly & hourly REAL worldwide weather observations with some offering over 30 variables. Daily, monthly, & annual summaries are available for over 30,000 worldwide locations. Historical Normals are also available and can be broken into 5, 10, 20, or 30 year increments depending on your needs.

Data Sources & Collection
Most weather data are extracted from data feeds broadcast by the NWS. The data are from observation systems established & maintained by the FAA, USDA, DOD, & other agencies. We also utilize some data collected by state agencies and other organizations that have established weather networks. All data has been rigorously quality controlled. We do additional extensive qc on the data, including various manual checks that others don’t do. Our weather data is clean, accurate and up-to-date.
Key Differentiators
AWIS weather data is REAL weather observations taken at the location. Those observations are then checked by humans for quality and reliability before being stored in our extensive database. We DO NOT use satellite derived estimates or fake observations generated by computers in our observational database.

We also offer the ability for customer specific products. We have canned, generic products available, but most of our customers require something specific and unique. We specialize in client specific solutions.
