Data Offering

We package years of work in geospatial data-science and compute optimisation to deliver a really simple dataset that answers a really hard to answer question. Using our proprietary technology we combine high precision spatiotemporal analysis with geodemographic data to allow our clients to answer questions such as:

  • find all areas in the UK where I can reach >70% of the population in <3hrs by truck
  • find all areas in Germany where I can reach >5000 unemployed in <30mins by car

Use Cases

Our datasets are used by Commercial Real Estate Investors, Civil Engineering and Public Works departments, Local Government, Retailers and Logistics providers to prospect for, and characterise locations of interest based on access to a desired population.

Uniquely, our product shows, not - how many people are in a place, but how many people you can get to, from that place in a fixed timeframe. This is very useful for clients in logistics looking to ensure:

  • 15 min food delivery within a city to the maximum number of customers of a certain age.
  • Next day delivery to the maximum number of customers in a market.

The applications for this technology are broad.

We have helped Industrial Asset Investors, locate areas with unique access characteristics to both the core population by truck and also the unemployed population, to validate land/asset acquisition.

We have helped Retailers isolate underserviced communities and patch holes in their estate network and reach new audiences.

We have helped homebuyers understand their access to schools within walking distance by average inspection score.

Data Sources & Collection

Spatiotemporal data is created using a highly customized and optimized routing-engine stack, this allows us to create the required very large OD travel-time matrices. Its scalable from countries to continents, down to cities and neighbourhoods.

Geodemographic data differs by dataset listed, but the sources are always listed with the individual dataset. These can be anything from raw populations, to populations of unemployed people, to house price growth and the prevalence of street crime.

Key Differentiators

We don’t currently believe there are any other providers on the platform offering the same product, integrating geodemographics with spatiotemporal analysis, to show the reachable populations from all points within a geography.

In addition to the data made available on the platform, we can also create most custom requirements for sub or transnational geographies and higher or lower resolutions depending on your requirements. Equally alternate geodemographic/population/access/commercial data can be integrated on request as a custom output.

Data Privacy

Our data products do not currently contain, in either their final form, or in the process of their creation, any data from which privacy concerns could arise.
